The rig is solid and just what I was looking for. Unfortunately the package came heavily damaged due to a problem with UPS. Some of the extrusions were scuffed and/or scratched. I reached out to RigMetal and as they say on their website, they made it right.

This rig is really amazing! I love the build and adjustability.
Been using this beast for around 2 weeks now and I couldn't be happier with it! Everything feels good and fits well (for the most part ((more on that in a sec))). My Moza CRP2 pedals with the inversion kit went on just dandy and the Hyundai Veloster seat I ripped out of a junkyard car took no major adjustments to screw right onto the rig (big plus!!)!
I did get a little overzealous when it came to wheelbase and monitor mounting though >.> I went with the Focus Sim Racing Side Mount Pro + Moza Front Mount Bundle and GT1 Integrated Vario Monitor Mount. I had not done my research too well and ended up with a bit of headache, heartache, and pain q.q For one: the Focus Sim Racing Side Mount Pro + Moza Front Mount Bundle was too big for the rig. I ended up Jerry Riggin' it and everything came out hunky dory. Second, though: the GT1 Integrated Vario Monitor Mount did not fit. I again, Jerry Rigged more of the set up and everything came out peachy.
My big take aways:
1. MAKE SURE YOU RESEACRH ALL THE DIMENSIONS OF THINGS TO SAVE YOU TIME IN THE LONG RUN IF YOU ARE NOT BUYING EVERYTHING FROM RIGMETAL!! (I was impatient and some things were sold out)
2. Even if you have to end up Jerry Riggin' things, this thing is still built like a tank. Have had no issues in the past two weeks and I tend to play my sim games hard (the wheel is not my friend sometimes).
3. The instructions were a bit tedious being a downloadable file, however everything was super straightforward when you got into it. Took me longer to build than recommended time, but this is my first rig, and I had to find a few workarounds.
4. I would recommend this product to anyone getting into simracing!

First sim racing rig and decided on rig metal after doing some research. Putting it together took a while, and the instructions could have been better, but it was manageable. It’s true that the paint scratches very easily but overall it’s a fantastic value and I don’t see why I would need anything more substantial. Also, one of my pieces had a defect on it, I emailed the company and they promptly sent out a replacement.
Possibly the best at its price point. Arrived as described, was easy to assemble, and included quite a bit of extra hardware. I purchased the caster kit as well and am happy with the quality of it.
