Customer Reviews
Great rig if you want an affordable aluminum profile cockpit that prioritizes function over looks. If you’re in the US, RigMetal should absolutely be on your shortlist—excellent quality for the price.
Packaging was solid, though there were a lot of aluminum chips left inside the extrusions, which required cleanup and I'd like to see improved by RigMetal. Assembly isn’t difficult—think giant Legos—but it is time-consuming (about 5 hours for me). Adjustability is excellent and the rig is extremely sturdy. With a Moza R5 and load-cell pedals, I get zero flex. The mounting plates and hardware are very thick and clearly built to last.
Minor gripe: the M6 and M8 bolts aren’t labeled, which makes sorting them a bit annoying. Overall, very high quality and a great value.
Took a good while for me to setup, but that was me being slow and picky with positioning. Will definitely say it was all worth it in the end! For the price, these rigs very easily compete with other common brands that cost 2 to 3 times as much. Don’t regret a single thing about it and excited to use it for many hours to come
Great value, exactly what I was looking for and the instructions are reasonable. I'd suggest calling Corbeau and ask for their scratch and dent FX1 chairs (30% off list). My only suggestion would be to include a seat bracket for either standard or Formula-style setups.
Was fun to build, had a second pair of hands so it made it easier. Very good value and probably the best deal in the US for an aluminum sim racing rig. Zero flex at all and if any questions feel free to email them and they will give tons of useful info
Exactly what i ordered and came with extra parts!!!
