About us
Founded in 2019 in Washington state, Rig Metal was born out of necessity. As an obsessed sim racer, our founder was frustrated by the limited availability of professional-grade, affordable cockpits in the U.S. market. What began as a pursuit for a better personal setup has grown into an operation serving thousands of racers across every corner of the country.
Our products are designed in the U.S. with a focus on structural integrity and modularity. We utilize high-quality 40-series T-slot aluminum as the foundation of our product line, ensuring that your setup can grow and adapt as quickly as the sport does.
Our Mission
Our mission is to grow the sport of sim racing by delivering professional-tier rigs that are accessible to everyone—from beginners to seasoned pros—at an unbeatable value.
The RigMetal Difference: Quality Without the Markup
We are laser-focused on lean operations so that we can pass every cent of savings on to our customers. In a market where entry-level price points often mean settling for thin materials that shake, bend, or flex, RigMetal refuses to compromise.
Our proprietary designs are engineered to be "over-built"—providing immovable, indestructible frames that stay rigid under the highest-torque direct drive bases and heavy-load hydraulic pedals. We achieve this industry-leading value by:
-
Operating Lean: We minimize overhead to keep our margins customer-friendly.
-
Strategic Production: We combine U.S. design expertise with negotiated international production.
-
Focused Product Line: By specializing in core, high-performance frames, we maximize quality and minimize waste.
Servicing the U.S. Market
We specialize in servicing the American sim racing community. By shipping directly from within the United States to all 50 states, we offer a single, low-cost flat rate on all rigs.
When you choose RigMetal, you bypass the long lead times, hidden customs fees, and the damage risks associated with international transit. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the lap times.
