Perfect entry into 8020!

Perfect entry into 8020! Plenty of extra componets to not only put together exactly as shown online but you have the flexibility to modify the original design to how you specifically want; kind of the beauty of 8020! Quality of profiles and mounting components are great, and with the price being what it is it is hard to justify spending more for a competitors kit, which in many comparable ones are lacking in regards to wheel base rigidity and the amounts of 120mm pieces. I recommend this to anyone looking to get into the hobby, anyone looking to dip their toes into 8020, or anyone who are just looking for a good value rig that you can grow into and modify as needs change!

Incredible value

Incredible value. Throw some caster wheel on it and there's no reason to buy any other cockpit unless you absolutely need a collapsible one. The assembly documents leave a bit to be desired as it seems like they are outdated for the basic trim at least, but it's enough. If you can do Legos and IKEA you can do this.

Really good quality

Really good quality. Instructions are on the website instead of in the box. That being said it does effect anything. Although the only complaint I haave/had is they send you 3 different bolt types all metric M8x1.25 but the heads are different. So far I've had no need for the Flatheads sent for any assembly but could of used more Socket head.

Highly recommend this!!!!!

This is my second cockpit and definitely my last!! I broke the welds and pipes on my first one and this one is rock solid and virtually impossible to break!! I love the ability to connect different things to the frame pretty much anywhere because of the channels on all sides! If you’re looking for a great cockpit that’s rock solid then this is for you!!!

Great price and very adjustable

With some creative repurposing (and some extra lengths of 4040 from Amazon), I used this kit as a base for my flight sim cockpit. The end result is stable and nicely customizable--I was able to get everything within an inch or two of the 152 cockpit I used as a reference.

The only minor difficulty I encountered was removing the alignment tabs from the corner brackets. The easiest method I found is to hold a flathead screwdriver against the base of the tab at about a 45 degree angle and give it a solid whack with a hammer. The tab should shear right off.
