Extremely solid design. Current instructions were easy to follow and well written. Mounted the seat rails vertically for more seat height - used extra gussets (not included) on either side of the seat rails out of precaution, but not sure it was necessary. I like the horizontal seat rails to help clear any uneven surfaces (locating pins, etc) on my salvage seat - no mods needed to my seat. Needed slightly longer seat mounting bolts, but easy to get locally.
I mounted the shifter arm on the outside of the main frame to accommodate accessing the electronic controls on the right side of my seat, but no problem with the included hardware and rock solid.
I mounted the pedal rails on the lower tracks of the pedal assembly to offset the height from the separate heel plate. This required having the pedal mounting assembly higher up on the main frame (and pedal uprights) to allow the bolt heads to clear the frame, but no problem as my seat is also higher up. 100% spend the extra on the plus rig - the added flexibility is super helpful for accommodating whatever you throw at it now and down the road.
Overall I have had the cockpit for about 9 months, I have been nothing short of satisfied. Product came exactly as described and I have had no issues with shipping or missing parts, I infact have many extra parts. I would recommend this to any of my USA located sim racing friends. I currently own the Plus edition with caster wheels and triple monitor stand +1 overhead mount.
Super sturdy rig! Pro tip, have someone help you assemble, and pay attention which length hex bolts you are using. Worth every penny
Solid, straight forward sim rig at a reasonable price. Delivery was quick. Setup was easy enough. No complaints about the rig in the 2+ months that I have been using it.
