Keyboard and Mouse Tray

I added this on to my rig and wasn’t happy with where I put it, but as with most things from Rigmetal, I was able to find a different way to mount the tray and now it’s perfect.

Had to 3D print an adapter plate to avoid filing down some tabs on the swivel that attaches to the 4040 that the keyboard tray connect to. I find that as we swing the keyboard in and out, the top screws in the swivels tighten and the bottom ones loosen on their own. I think the swivels need some spacers for a more snug fit and the screws probably need some loctite - I think this would be true of any swivel I bought anywhere else too. Overall tough, the tray is a great size and it’s easy to setup and use. The mouse tray works great- no issues at all. Well with the price.

Building basic rig was kind of a nightmare; these accessories were so darn easy to install. 10/10 worth every penny. Lifelong customer.

Adjustability is key with this product. The keyboard is able to pivot close to your lap depending on where its mounted, all while being able to be moved out of the way when you no longer need it.

The mouse tray doesn't seem to have the best of mounting locations, and also lacks additional support, albeit you wouldn't expect to put much pressure on it anyways. I do wish the kit included one additional extrusion for the lower side of the mouse tray, so that IF additional pressure was applied, it would not pivot.

Excellent packaging and shipping. I was able to stack both trays on the same side.
